Rhys Fulber 作为大名鼎鼎的 Delerium 和 Front Line Assembly 乐团中的核心人物而广为人知，同时他因为为 Sarah Brightman 莎拉·布莱曼、Josh Groban乔诗·葛洛班、P.O.D.、穆德温尼 等人所作的作品而倍受尊敬。作为电子音乐先锋实验的一份子他工作了将近二十年的时间。之后，Delerium 解散了一段时间，在这期间，Rhys Fulber 开始以 Conjure One 魔法术这个形象浮出水面。
音乐在 Rhys Fulber 生命里一直占有举足轻重的位置，Rhys Fulber 把这归功于他童年的成长经历。生长于英属哥伦比亚的范库弗峰，Rhys Fulber 从小就被各种乐器包围着。他的父亲是一个音乐家，他五岁的时候就开始玩鼓。到11岁，他就是个购买 Dead Kennedys 的唱片学习录音棚的种种举止的朋克摇滚迷了，佩特·雪梨的以电子合成为主导的专辑《Homosapien》是直导 Rhys Fulber 内心的音乐；14岁的时候，Rhys Fulber 从父亲那里收到一份生日礼物，那是一架鼓和一个键盘，他的电子音乐生涯由此起步。
1999年，伴随着 Conjure One 魔法术这个新的名号，Rhys Fulber 开始了为期三年的全球旅行，吸收了世界上各类音乐的精粹来作为他奇妙的电声题材。2001年的专辑《Redemption 救赎》可以说是 Conjure One 魔法术标志性的开张音乐。一年以后，Rhys Fulber 邀请到了 Sinéad O'Connor 席德妮·奥康诺、Poe 珀、和以色列歌手 Chemda 凯美达 加盟制作了以《Conjure One 魔法术》为标题的同名专辑，这成为乐团极其成功的里程碑式的作品集。
