Kristene DiMarco在纽约尼亚加拉大瀑布长大，和家人一起参加了命运基督教会。2002年，Kristene16岁时，一位新的宗教领袖来到教堂工作。在被要求加入礼拜队后，她开始学习弹钢琴。一年后，她的礼拜领袖要求她第一次领唱一首歌。从那时起，Kristene在礼拜领袖的指导下，于星期天早上开始创作礼拜音乐和领唱歌曲。高中毕业后，Kristene搬到堪萨斯城，作为实习生参加了国际祈祷会。


2014年4月，在Bethel Music 发表的经典现场专辑《You Make Me Brave (Live)》中，Kristene DiMarco演唱了《It Is Well 它很好》。这张专辑被刊登在Billboard杂志的歌曲排行榜上，这首基督教歌曲排在了27位的位置。


这是一首很有感染力的福音歌曲，余音袅袅，孤独而有力量，平淡中带着一种坚韧的劲，像不语的大树，展现给人的是波澜不惊的枝叶，而看不见的角落里，它在最深的大地扎根、放肆生长。旋律令人眼眶湿润，突然生出对生命的敬畏之感。也许，我们都需要在暗黑的地方这样成长。
